Statement of Intent
Boyo Labs is an investment-funded research and engineering practice, built on the belief that curiosity-driven work deserves to be taken seriously without a commercial justification. The practice is capitalized by an income-focused investment portfolio rather than customers, advertising, or an audience — which means its work is never subject to market validation. Projects are undertaken, documented, and retired strictly on their own merit.
All work is conducted transparently through public research logs. The practice's growth is self-reinforcing: portfolio returns fund the reclamation of time from other obligations, and that time is reinvested directly into the practice's research and engineering output.
Success is measured not in revenue, but in credibility — work substantial enough to be recognized and respected on its own terms.
